Right now I have two IDE drives, one for 386BSD, and one for DOS.
I wanted to be able to access the DOS drive from 386BSD, so I recompiled
mtools, after adding an entry in the devices table announcing my DOS hard
disk as drive 'C'

But whenever I try to do an mdir I get an error message about the drive
having a corrupted label?

So, do I have to label my dos disk? And if I do so will I corrupt the
data that is already there??

Thanks in advance,
Brian
