In fact, some weeks ago, i've experimented with something like SysV's
idea of how to configure new drivers. i've created something which might
be called a master file, but didn't wan't to repeat the oddities of
SysV. So my version is more readable (parsed by a yacc parser), and i
dislike the idea of pre-assigning *all* major numbers (but included
the opportunity of doing so). It's a very early version, i ain't got
enough time to complete it (yet). If someone is interested to discuss
about this, please mail me.
