Message-ID: <1993Mar8.032446.3820@wam.umd.edu> Summary: Help!!! Sender: usenet@wam.umd.edu (USENET News system) Nntp-Posting-Host: rac3.wam.umd.edu Organization: University of Maryland, College Park Date: Mon, 8 Mar 1993 03:24:46 GMT Lines: 9 First of all...it just occured to me that I need the source distribution to recompile the kernel, don't I? Ugh. I don't have enough space for that...I only have about 23 megs left. Second...this may sound like a stupid question, but if the patches only change the kernel, why doesn't one kind soul rebuild 386bsd (the kernel, located in the root) and post it on an FTP site? This would make things a lot easier for some of us...I can't install the source, and I really have no alternative. Would anyone be willing to do this???? -Matt
