Does anyone know whether the System V shared memory system calls work
properly when configured into the kernal? I would like to use the
XSHM server extension with 386bsd+XFree86 which needs them.

Alternatively, I could write a compatability library in terms of mmap,
munmap. Perhaps someone has already done this?

Yes, I have diffs for SYSVSHM but they are still in alpha stage of
development. Anyone interested is welcome to drop me a line. Rich
