Hmm, grown naturally.... I like it!!

If you have the src01 distribution and the bin01 distribution, and you
haven't changed any files locally, NO PATCHES IN THE OFFICIAL PATCHKIT
WILL FAIL.  If you don't have the src01 distribution, then how can
one expect to fix the kernel.  The patchkit people can't be expected
to deal with non-standard distributions, so they deal with the most
common denominator.

The reason the patchkit contains more than kernel fixes is because more
than the kernel has bugs.  For example, the library contains bugs, which
in turn affect the kernel.  And the include files have bugs, which I
suppose one could argue affect the kernel.
