Well, just after the BIOS texts from the Adaptec card.

I just found a back-issue of a news message indicating to me that 
the patched bootflops on agate do contain support for 1542A cards, but that
the bootblocks in mdec don't. They were not recompiled :-(. So, 
this evening I'm going to try if this makes any difference by using a
hacked bootflop.
