Like chris said, more like #define's, and do you know that every conditonal
you use in your programs creates a JMP instruction in assembler! Think about
it!

NFS and symlinks can be a real godsend if you know what you are doing
and the addition of varian symlinks makes it even better!!  Then you
NFS symlinks can be host dependent.  Think about it, it is VERY powerful!
