Message-ID: <f0tVRCD@quack.kfu.com> Organization: The Duck Pond public unix: +1 408 249 9630, log in as 'guest'. Date: 13 Mar 1993 02:05:02 UTC Lines: 15 My PC here at work has a 3C509 ethernet board in it. Is there anything I can do to get it to work under 386bsd or must I get one of the four cards specified in INSTALL.NOTES? Also, when I say 'shutdown -todos', it says that it cannot switch to the DOS partition. I have to boot DOS from floppy, fdisk to set the active partition, then reboot again. Is this because I haven't fully installed the system yet (I have only done 'install' from the dist floppy. I haven't done 'extract')? -- Nick Sayer <mrapple@quack.kfu.com> | "Now we can talk to cheese N6QQQ @ N0ARY.#NOCAL.CA.USA.NOAM | anywhere in the world, regarless +1 408 249 9630, log in as 'guest' | of their foreign tongues!"
