I built nethack a while back for my 386bsd system, and everything worked fine for the first day or so (games ran great, etc...), but then, every time I tried to run it, I got init prob error for 4 (215%) or something EXTREMELY similar to that. Tracing through some source code tends to suggest that it's dying while trying to initialize some objects, but I can't figure out what's up. A recompile of the system produces the exact same result---Everything works great for a day, and then dies. I'd rather not have to recompile nethack everytime I want to play a game ;-) This is with 3.1.0. Anybody know what's up with this...? Toodlepip!
