i'm using julian's scsi drivers, and have a WangDAT 3200 at SCSI
id 6...
at startup, i see:
ahb0 reading board settings,
**ahb0 probing for scsi devices**
dev0,lu0: type 0:0(direct),fixed 'MICROP 1908-15MZ1077802HZ2P' scsi1
sd0: 1314MB, cyls 2112, heads 15, secs 85, bytes/sec 512
dev6,lu0: type 0:1(sequential),removable 'WangDAT Model 3200 01.9' scsi2
st0: scsi tape drive, 0 blocks of 512 bytes
ahb0 at 0x1000 irq 11 on isa
when i'm dumping large amounts of data to the tape drive, i will eventually
get:
"ahb0:6 device timed out"
any suggestions, comments, ideas?
this is on a 486-50 EISA machine, with *all caches turned off*...
(same thing happens with them on; i checked this first... 8-)
thanks,
chris
