Date: 21 Mar 93 23:59:01 Organization: Kernel Hackers 'r' Us Lines: 31 Distribution: world Message-ID: <CGD.93Mar21235901@erewhon.CS.Berkeley.EDU> NNTP-Posting-Host: erewhon.cs.berkeley.edu i'm using julian's scsi drivers, and have a WangDAT 3200 at SCSI id 6... at startup, i see: ahb0 reading board settings, **ahb0 probing for scsi devices** dev0,lu0: type 0:0(direct),fixed 'MICROP 1908-15MZ1077802HZ2P' scsi1 sd0: 1314MB, cyls 2112, heads 15, secs 85, bytes/sec 512 dev6,lu0: type 0:1(sequential),removable 'WangDAT Model 3200 01.9' scsi2 st0: scsi tape drive, 0 blocks of 512 bytes ahb0 at 0x1000 irq 11 on isa when i'm dumping large amounts of data to the tape drive, i will eventually get: "ahb0:6 device timed out" any suggestions, comments, ideas? this is on a 486-50 EISA machine, with *all caches turned off*...
