Message-ID: <juenger.732803568@gmd.de> Sender: news@gmd.de (USENET News) Nntp-Posting-Host: gmdzi Organization: GMD, Sankt Augustin, Germany Date: Mon, 22 Mar 1993 12:32:48 GMT Lines: 21 After unpacking the binary distribution of 386bsd 0.1 and applying patchkit 0.2.1 and some recovery work, I can't use "mread" to read in the source distri- bution. To be precise, I give the commands and their results: mread b: *.* . => "mread: no match" and no access to the floppy at all mread *.* b: . => something with hardware error on cylinder 0 and 1 But the floppy is ok using tar-commands. Have I lost some important files for mtools? "disktab" seems ok, too. Any ideas? Thanks for all answers.
