Hm, that's partly right. Taylor-UUCP and nn just compiles fine and easy. Elm on the contrary is real work to get it running well. There is another thing to consider: 386bsd has a stable BSD-FFS and stable networking, while there are bugs in the Linux efs and in their networking.
