After I installed the patchkit 0.2.1 and recompiled the kernel with all the SCSI-devices (CD-ROM, Tape-drive ...) the kernel size was 550k and when rebooting the system told me that the kernel is too big. So it seems that this problem hasn't been fixed with the new patches! Another problem I have is that the X server goes down after doubleclicking on an iconized application. It appears to me that when trying to restore the contens of the window the server doesn't get any information and shuts down. - Any solution to these problems is much appreciated! - Peter 8*) -- /--------------------------------------------------------\ | Peter Burgstaller| Student of Computerscience | | (peter@cosy.sbg.ac.at)| in Salzburg, Austria (Europe) | | "So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish" (Douglas Adams) | \--------------------------------------------------------/
