Date: 26 Mar 1993 21:15:34 -0800 Organization: Kithrup Enterprises, Ltd. Lines: 17 Sender: sef@ftp.UU.NET Message-ID: <1p0ntmINNjd1@ftp.UU.NET> NNTP-Posting-Host: ftp.uu.net I just got an IBM/Tandberg SCSI tape drive (used) for my system. It is being recognized on bootup by julian's drivers, but when I try do do something like: tar tvf /dev/rst0 I get: st0: illegal request could not mode select for unit 0 (Which is strange, since the SCSI ID of the tape is 1. So I am assuming that that is just referring to the 0th tape drive. Or something is really not working right :).) Help? Thanks...
