I will make it very clear when this is the case. I installed the 2.2 patchkit to a base system, compiled the kernel (no problems) then compiled and installed the gcc2.3.3 source that was recently talked about here from some ftp site. I then did the make world.sh thing in the patchkit bin directory. Things have been running just great since, compiling and running many large programs. Even used the EN100 ethernet driver with heavy NFS use. 386/33 with 387, 220 and 40 meg IDE with 2 5meg swap partitions and 12 megs memory. -- I am created Shiva the Destroyer; Death, the shatterer of worlds!
