I'm asking because bash from the etcdist (which I had to install as sh because of cnews) coredumps when confronted with command lines longer than 4-5kb. Unfortunately, a make in /usr/src/lib/libc produces a command line longer than 5kb (for making the profiled libc). -- Sascha Wildner, Am Druvendriesch 27, W-5030 Huerth 6, Germany "Meanwhile, thundering obsession, armed with state of the art phallic symbols, spurts through the outback......" - Tank Girl
