Hi,
Reading comp.os.linus I was pleasantly surprised to see that they have a
program which allows them to interactively configure their Xconfig
settings. After grabbing the program, I ofcourse stumbled across an
incompatibility, but I'm not so deep into vga- and kernelhacking so
someone with more experience and knowledge might be able to solve this a
lot quicker than I could.
(sidenote: If this has already been ported then ignore the rest and
please point me to a site where I can get it)
/var/tmp/cc0001521.o: Undefined symbol _ioperm referenced from text
segment
/var/tmp/cc0001521.o: Undefined symbol _ioperm referenced from text

this statement occurs in the routines:
inb(short port)
and
outb(short port)
which are used to read and set the registers.
