After grabbing the program, I ofcourse stumbled across an incompatibility, but I'm not so deep into vga- and kernelhacking so someone with more experience and knowledge might be able to solve this a lot quicker than I could. (sidenote: If this has already been ported then ignore the rest and please point me to a site where I can get it) /var/tmp/cc0001521.o: Undefined symbol _ioperm referenced from text segment /var/tmp/cc0001521.o: Undefined symbol _ioperm referenced from text segment this statement occurs in the routines: inb(short port) and outb(short port) which are used to read and set the registers. sources : Host ftp.germany.eu.net Location: /pub/comp/i386/Linux/X11/X11-Server/S3 FILE -rw-rw-r-- 13956 Dec 15 10:01 vgaset.tar.Z Host nic.funet.fi Location: /pub/OS/Linux/BETA/X_S3 FILE -r--r--r-- 13956 Nov 27 00:08 vgaset.tar.Z Regards, Marc van Kempen.
