The latest version of syscons (syscons-0.2) handles switching screen when in X (in the same way as ISC/SCO), you can even run multiple Xservers at once and switch between them. This is only one of the many good reasons to use syscons :-) The final release of syscons-0.2 is pending, but for the unpatient look at ftp.tu-graz.ac.at /pub/386BSD/0.1/unofficial/syscons-0.2/ / sos
