We are running here HPUX 9.0 on a HP9000/800 and it worked fine since ever. The only thing to do was, to make shure "root" is not present in more than 8 entries in the "/etc/group" (on 386BSD) file - after removing some root-entries from this file we were able to mount. hellmuth -- hellmuth michaelis HCS Hanseatischer Computerservice GmbH hamburg, europe hm@hcshh.hcs.de tel: +49/40/55903-170 fax: +49/40/5591486 [ the opinions expressed above are my own and not the opinion of anybody else ]
