Last mail I got from Julian when he was at ref stated that the machine (hardware) had died. Fortunately, there were backups tapes of it made. I believe Chris got one, Bill got one, Julian got one, and whenever I get some disk space I'll be able to look at mine. It looks like ref is gone for good. I doubt TFS wants to buy another new machine just for the 386BSD community and install stuff on it out of the goodness of their hearts, though they almost did that before.
