i can't agree with Nate more; seriously, give Rod a break...
not too many people want the job of javelin-catcher,
and Rod volunteered... (think about it this way, too:
how many fixes have you seen out of Rob in the time he's
been coordinator... how about from WFJ himself? ok... 8-)
even if you don't play by "the rules" (i.e. you don't care
if you get everything right the first time), it's still a
*huge* job.
trying to get 386bsd users to go in a general direction,
or to produce a fix, or something, on time, is (thanks to jtkohl
for the analogy) like herding cats...
<chuckle> if you'd like to do it yourself, let me just
say that i heartily recommend CVS... 8-)
