I've installed 386BSD and X (XFree86). The Chipset on my Trident is TVGA 8900CL. The problem: When I start X386 the server immediately terminates with NO error messages ("X 2>&1 > /tmp/bla"). The Xconfig-file contains the clocks and chipset statements like in the README.trident file advised. What is the problem, should I try ET4000 ? Thanx for your help Juergen * Juergen Metko, Kasernstrasse 16, D-7910 Neu-Ulm, Voice: +49-731-724618 * * E-Mail: metko@metko.ul.open.de Fido: 2:2407/800.16 * * metko@informatik.tu-muenchen.de * * Die Macht sei mit Dir, mein junger Maily, aeh Jedi ... *
