Hi,
I just installed XFree86-1.2 on my 386bsd, an got everything set up
following the docs. However, when I started up startx, I got complaint
about :

resources temporarily unavailable.

And an attempt was made (by the system) to kill server, but failed
with signal 3 intercepted. So what I end up is just a blank screen hanging
up the system. Also, the CTRL-ALT-BACKSPACE does not kill the server anyay,
even when I have got DontZap commented out in Xconfig.

So, I copy my own version of .xinitrc, .Xresources and .Xdefaults from
Sun to 386bsd, and make some changes to it. However, that didn't help either,
can anyone help please ?

BTW, I wonder if this is the right group for queries about XFree86 ?

  Email replies welcomed!
