Strang though, I have to disable my HD in the CMOS setup. I begin to format the HD and it tells me I have a ESDI drive though!!! and my little 40 meger is 83 megs!!! I will finish the format and fail to transfer the system. I am willing to use the long, nonautomatice method of the fixit.dist but I can't find a document on it. So can anyone help me? Are there any other docs for this beast? I have a 486 w/ American Megatrends BIOS trying to format a 40 meg IDE Western Digital Any ideas? thanks John Maier personal mail to c588212@128.206.48.2 or c588212@mugcnx2.missouri.edu (may not work) or if all fails c588212@mizzou1.missouri.edu
