Hello, all...
I have three questions, I hope none of them are overly dumb-sounding or
overly FAQ...
(1) I have a 386-25mHz, 150 Meg HD with 135 Meg of that for 386BSD. I'm
trying to build some programs (specifically, GNU C 2.3.3 and gas 2.0), and
the system promptly grinds to a halt. Stopping the process and doing a ps
shows the pagedaemon is running almost exclusively (i.e. major
thrashing). Any clues how to solve this? Do I need to increase swap space
or maybe just give it up?
(2) Anyone know where I can get a copy of the compiled kernel with the patches
applied?
(3) Anyone know where I can get a Pascal compiler for 386BSD?
Posting or emailing a response would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time.
Bob
