If this is an FAQ, please point me to the appropriate place...

I just got emacs (18.59) compiled this morning on my machine.  I
figured out how to make the arrow keys and numeric keypad work
but can't figure how to make the "alt" key act as a meta key.  It
works as a meta key in microemacs so it must be possible.  I'm
using pccons (with the 0.2.2 patches).

Also, has anybody cooked up a good lisp/term/pc3.el file for
emacs?
