I cannot agree with you.  It's more helpful to tell many people about
archie by posting than to mail FAQ to only one person (at once).  I hope
everyone use archie, freeWAIS or anything like that.

I didn't say like "you should not ask that question".  Instead, I said
"if you know archie, you *don't have to* ask it".

For some types of questions, I can rely on archie much more than replies
from the net.  It doesn't mean people on the net are not reliable but
means that sometimes I cannot expect a reply to my post from the net
whereas I can expect a result from archie whatever it is.

Again, I don't try to chase people away from this group.  I'm trying to be
as helpful as I can even if you don't think so.
