Greetings all,

Is there a fix to machdep.c to allow one to successfully compile
the kernel with gcc-2.3.3? I saw mention of machdep.c in the FAQ
as a trouble spot, which I was able to confirm; gcc-1.39 alone on
machdep.c and gcc-2.3.3 on everything else produces a working kernel.

Best wishes,
Norm Bartley, norm@enel.ucalgary.ca
