There have been discussions in the Newsgroups and the mailing lists at ref
about a few projects for 386BSD, but I haven't heard anything about them
for a long time. Among these projects I remember:

	shared libraries
	loadable kernel modules
	/proc filesystem
	booting 386BSD from DOS
	environment dependend symlinks
	object file system
	automatic /dev configuration
	kernel configuration utility
	better device probing

Is anybody working on any variant of the above projects ?
There has been a very live discussion about a few of these, but I
haven't seen many actual implementations.
