Could anyone who has successfully installed the 0.2.3 patchkit
provide enlightment to the tricks used to install it. Having tried
and failed with both the 0.2.2 and 0.2.3 kits. Myself and others
have almost reached the end of the road. With both patchkits things
looked OK until the buildworld.sh was executed. From there on
everything started going down hill including file system integrity.
Errors are too numerous to list here, but many of them seem to be
related to a FLAG "elide-constructors".
The gcc-1.39 compiler which is part of the distro doesn't seem
to know what to do with it.
Any hints or tricks to insure success is greatly appreciated.
Please post to the net or e-mail words of wisdom to either
aj9x@fedix.fie.com or mwmarde@afterlife.ncsc.mil
Many thanks in advance.
