Date: 23 Apr 1993 04:19:49 GMT Organization: Project GLUE, University of Maryland, College Park Lines: 18 Distribution: world Message-ID: <1r7qp5INN2lq@mojo.eng.umd.edu> NNTP-Posting-Host: nand.eng.umd.edu Sometime ago I asked for a FAQ for 386bsd and I got responses of the kind "There isn't such a thing" or saying that there was one somewhere but it was very out of date. I have no intentions of using 386bsd in the near future but a friend of mine who lives in other country and has no access to internet wants it. So my question is where/how can I get the most complete, up-to-date, state-of-the-art, clean distribution of 386bsd? (Don't tell me something like "get a file from here, another from there, apply a dozen of patches...") I want to stress that I want a complete-clean-working version, because my friend cannot get and apply new patches and bug fixes every other day. I would like to know also if somebody distributes disks/cd-rom of 386bsd, how many disks are? what is the price? Do they include sources? You can reply to either of the addresses below. Thank you very much. +---------------------------------+ | Barzilai Spinak | | ..... barspi@wam.umd.edu | | (-O-O-) barspi@eng.umd.edu | +nnn--U--nnn----------------------+
