Message-ID: <1993Apr25.162800.6667@cs.cornell.edu> From: cchase@cs.cornell.edu (Craig Chase) Date: Sun, 25 Apr 1993 16:28:00 GMT Organization: Electrical Engineering, Cornell University, Ithaca NY Keywords: SL/IP PatchKit(s) Summary: What changes (if any) to slip since 0.1 Lines: 23 What changes have been made to the slip protocol since the original 0.1 release that might effect the ability of my machine to talk to the local slip service here at Cornell? I noticed that slattach has changed, and includes arguments for selecting different protocol varieties. However, even with the default arguments slip fails completely for me on NetBSD. With my fairly generic 386BSD system (only the first patchkit applied) slip was OK. So, can someone point me to the history of changes that have been made in the patchkits and NetBSD to the slip code (changes to the line discipline?) that could cause a failure.
