I am looking at buying a 486 machine but want to make sure it will
run some "free" Unix before I do so. The machine I am looking at
is a Packard Bell Legend 2276. This is a 486DX2/66 machine with
a Local Bus SVGA HT216 video card, 540 MB disk, and a PS/2 mouse.
I have good knowledge about Unix, but don't know much about PC's
in general. Is anyone out there using this setup with 386bsd,
NetBSD, or BSDI? I am most concerned about the video card and mouse
working with X. Any help is appreciated.
