I thought they went out with lovebeads and bellbottoms. John Bell said this dastardly remark in jest: >Guess since bellbottoms and lovebeads are coming back, flowcharts aren't >far behind :-). NO! NO! RESIST! Muster all your self control! Flowcharts are part of the IBM conspiracy to regain control of the computer market! It's no coincidence that IBM fell when flowcharting went out of style. Don't let computer science regress 20 years! It's all a plot by IBM to - sell more of those flowcharting templates (oh dear - what if Microsoft made flowcharting templates too. You can bet that they'd be incompatible with the IBM ones!) - make their unemployed programmers seem more marketable (gee - your flowcharting skills will be an asset to my group since we already are filled to the gills with object oriented and MS windows/X-windows experts). - make you think that IBM products are well designed -- Jeffrey Jonas, who still HAS his bell-bottoms and flared pants and tubes of yet unstrung beads. Of course, :-) for the humor impaired -- Jeffrey Jonas jeffj@panix.com
