Date: 27 Apr 1993 17:32:16 GMT Organization: University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee Lines: 20 Distribution: world Message-ID: <1rjqn0INN7hm@uwm.edu> NNTP-Posting-Host: 129.89.9.13 We are running 386BSD with the latest patchkit installed and we have program which sits in a select call waiting for imformation from the com port or from a socket. If the user presses control-c from the terminal he is running this program from(console or xterm, or network) the machine just reboots. I tried compiling a DDB kernel but the machine doesn't even drop into the kernel, it just reboots. Anyone have any hints on how to fix this feature? -- ______________________________________________________________ /\ University of Wisconsin -- Milwaukee \ \_| Computing Services Division Computer Science Department | | jimj@csd4.csd.uwm.edu jimj@miller.cs.uwm.edu | | jimj@convex.csd.uwm.edu | | __________________________________________________________|___ \_/_____________________________________________________________/
