Well I got lots of mail asking me to report my findings and it in...doesn't seem to have a chance. The ST01 can be configured without IRQ usage or on IRQ 5 or 7. This means no IRQ 11 like on the required SCSI in the docs. There is still two questions on my mind. 1) What is a DRQ, I'm not familiar with this abriviation. 2) If I got another SCSI controller of either 8 or 16 bit type and they could be altered to use IRQ 11, DRQ 5, and the proper port address, would this work? This would be much cheeper than the SCSI controller option presented in the docs I've been reading (***BSD is not a poor or nonresourceful man's undertaking). I hope this helps. And if anyone can shead light on these questions, let us know, I (amoung a lot of people) are curious. John Maier <c588212@mizzou1.missouri.edu>
