The install notes only mention the 1542B. Both interface cards cost the same price, $239.00. But the C deals with SCSI-2 while the B doesn't. The Toshiba drive is compatible with SCSI-1, so it could work with the B, but for the same price, I could get the C and better performance ;) I'd appreciate any info/advice on the Adaptec controller cards. thanks, -Sam
