Message-ID: <C695z5.5n7@nervous.com> Followup-To: poster Sender: pizzi@nervous.com (Riccardo Pizzi) Organization: The Nervous XTC Unix BBS +39-541-27135 HST/PEP/V32b Date: Thu, 29 Apr 1993 16:04:16 GMT Lines: 19 My apologies if this isn't the correct group, but I cannot find any 386bsd specific group in my active file... I am pretty new to 386bsd (but not to unix), and I just finished installing it and compiling my applications, when I suddendly discovered that (apparently) there is no FIFO support in the binaary distribution kernel! mkfifo(1) just says 'operation not supported', the relative syscall also fails. My question: is there a way to reconfigure kernel without having the full sources on the disk? Or there is something I am missing? Please send me email, because I don't get this group regularly. Thanks...
