                        Ethernet project dies.
                        =====================
        What follows is a message I sent to chafey@ecst.csuchico.edu.
        In it I reply to his message of the inability to start the
        ethernet project group at Chico.

        My feeling about this are mixed. I am certainly aware of people
        that object to me at Chico, I can only speculate as to the reason
        of the projects death.

        However, what is needed though is for some other group to
        continue the idea. I had many respones to ethernet card
        availability, but unfortunately I can not respond that we will
        use them.

        If anyone (or group) would like to continue this work let me know.
        Some of the cards available are brand new from commercial companies.

        Thank you for your attention.

     OK. I will try to get time; to get up and give a pep talk to
     all that wish to hear.

     OK, thanks for the update. Good luck in your studies.
