Yes, you can have both DOS and 386bsd/NetBSD on the drives, but for easy installation, you will need some empty space on the first drive for the setup of 386bsd/NetBSD , you can even make it easier to boot between DOS and BSD, i use OS-BS, a little boot program, that asks you, which OS you want to boot.
