My plans: 486DX50 or DX266 Vesa LB w/ EISA 17" Digital Monitor VLB SCSI-2 Controller VLB Video Card 350-540 Meg SCSI Drive 16 MB Ram Good V.32bis Modem My main concern is what type of video cards and SCSI-2 cards are supported by 386BSD. Can someone help me here, or point me to a FAQ? As you can see, I want to have a decent X station: hence the 17" monitor and 16 MB ram. By the way, I called a company named Zenon computers. They had a nice big glossy add in Computer Shopper. I talked to _the_ sales guy and he had a terrible attitude problem. I asked if there was another sales person I could talk to and he claimed to be the only one. So, I hang up. I certainly will not order from this company. I am hoping that with the recent decision allowing AMD to clone the 486 chips, that the prices will fall significantly. -- **************************************************************************** * Ed Jones | ejones@desire.wright.edu * * Deptartment of Psychology | ejones@sdl.psych.wright.edu * * Signal Detection Lab | ejones@wsu (Bitnet) * * Wright State University | * ****************************************************************************
