What version, where can it be found? The current released version is 0.2.3-B1 and that will be the last version of the 0.2.3 release. I am trying to close in on a 0.2.4 ALPHA release some time in the next 2 weeks. The master patch kit site is not online, it lives on one of my boxes at home. The site that I update first is bsd.coe.montana.edu, and I quickly mirror that to sun-lamp.cs.berkeley.edu. It takes a few days for me to get agate updated, and thus it's mirrors lag behind. >2) Is there an overview of all patches in the patchkit ? I have completedly automated the creation of the following files that are shipped out with the patch kit. These files are both inside and outside the patch kit tar.z (.z == gzip) for easy reference: INDEX-x.x.x, this is a complete index with textual description of the patches. FILES-BY-FILE-x.x.x, tells what patch patched what file, sorted by file. FILES-BY-PATCH-x.x.x, tells what patch patched what file, sorted by patch. >3) Do the propagators of NetBSD supply a list of all patches they applied > to 386BSD-0.1 ? Not really, they do have a summary log, but it does not contain all of the changes, nor does it contain much detail. >4) What is the name of the site carrying ALL net traffic since 0.1 release? I do not know of ANY true archive of c.o.3 news groups, could some one please point me at one, and if one does not exsist can we please get a major news archive site to pick these groups up. >5) What is 386BSD-0.1.5 ? Humm.. there are some other postings on this. The base code we are starting with IS 0.1 + patch kit 0.2.4 PRE-ALPHA, and as the patch kit coordinator and a core team member of 0.1.5 I will make sure that ALL of the work from the patch kit up to and including patch kit 0.2.4 is in the 0.1.5 release at which time the patch kit will be replaced by new tools. >Excuse if these are FAQs, but I didn't see FAQs in months. There are some new ones out.. thanks to Dave Burgess there is a VASTLY improved FAQ. -- Rod Grimes rgrimes@agora.rain.com 386BSD patchkit coordinator Wish it paid real money!
