(Michael Bundy) Subject: no bootable partition Message-ID: <1993May3.151924.25768@ulysses.att.com> Date: Mon, 3 May 1993 15:19:24 GMT Reply-To: mbundy@research.att.com Organization: AT&T Bell Laboratories Lines: 19 This weekend I decided to install NetBSD...Installation went fine. I played with it for the weekend and then went to reinstall my Dell SVR4 (2.2). This installation went fine, and when it was done and I rebooted, the system will not boot, instead it just says: No Bootable Partition I ran the Dell install again with the same results. So, I took a step back and tried to see if I could even get DOS to work. Same result: No Bootable Partition. Yes, I am setting an active partition. The system is a 486/33 with an Adaptec 1542B. The boot drive is a Maxtor LXT213S. Any ideas at all? -- Michael B.
