The System V LP spooling system has flexible interface-scripts (models),
which allow you to implement *any* option you want.
On the other hand, not a single option (something with -o on the lp
command-line) is standardized.
Most vendors supply their UNIX systems with models that offer the same
set of options or each type of printer.

So, you have to make a model understand the options "half" and "quarter"
yourself, or find existing ones for your type of printer.
