The System V LP spooling system has flexible interface-scripts (models), which allow you to implement *any* option you want. On the other hand, not a single option (something with -o on the lp command-line) is standardized. Most vendors supply their UNIX systems with models that offer the same set of options or each type of printer. So, you have to make a model understand the options "half" and "quarter" yourself, or find existing ones for your type of printer. -- -- Jos Vos <jos@bull.nl> (UUCP: ...!{uunet,mcsun,sun4nl}!nlbull!jos) -- Bull Netherlands, Professional Services, Amsterdam, The Netherlands
