Here's the usual trick to make sure that a paying account is nuked : 1- Warn the node admin in advance. 2- Next time this dude shoots out a post that people feel is not contributing to the Net, just take 30 seconds and Email him a 2-liner telling him so. 3- Voila! The node admin will suddenly see 200 000 or so Emails for 1 user arrive inside of 24 hours. Thereby taking a lot of precious bandwidth and drive space. Since the node admin was told in advance that any post coming from this user will generate this particular number of flames directly to him (and therefor billed to Netcom) then it will be cost-beneficial to just slug the looser out. The net has always needed to police itself, but most don't realise that the methods are available to everyone. This guy seemed to have inflamed quite a few newgroups, that means quite a few people... If you don't like it, Email him... BTW, there isn't a way in hell he will be able to post personal mail to all who send him one... $$$ That's Pat signing off ...
