I have a working 0.1-0.2.3 kernel and I'm running XFree86 (X386) for ET4000.
Both servers, the older (beta) one and the 1.2 server (home built in my
X11R5 tree) leave the VGA display in a mode which is unusable. The old server
leaves amnaesiac character patterns on the screen by which you just can guess
what you type. The new server leaves the VGA in a differnet timing than
before starting the X server being unusable as well.

Anyone having similar problems and eventually a cure?
