Message-ID: <1993May10.072616.27095@latcs1.lat.oz.au> From: eroglu@ipc3.lat.oz.au (Hasan Eroglu) Date: Mon, 10 May 1993 07:26:16 GMT Sender: news@latcs1.lat.oz.au (news) Organization: Comp Sci, La Trobe Uni, Australia Nntp-Posting-Host: ipc3.lat.oz.au Lines: 6 I am interested in whether I can use CD-ROM as a hard disk to store system files on a 486 machine. For example running the unix operating system from CD-ROM. I know it is possible to store data, which can be read and write to but can it be used in purpose of a hard disk. I am happy to hear any ideas Thanks
