We're trying to install 386bsd on a machine here with an Ethernet
card that is recognized by 386bsd. (As far as we're aware, the
card is WD8003 compatible...)

The system prints the following when it recognizes the card:

we0 ethernet address 00:00:c0:2b:05:17 at 0x280 irq 9 on isa

After installing from the TinyBSD floppy, we run the following commands:

ifconfig we0 132.206.3.200 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 132.206.3.255
route add default 132.206.3.4

However, after this, ftp doesn't work to anywhere---Everything times out.
Looking for packets (on a Sun) originating from this machine seems to
indicated that it isn't sending any.

Any ideas what could be up here...?

Toodlepip!
Marc 'em.
