There wouldn't be any significant numbers of 386bsd without mread.
It's used to copy files from DOS-formatted diskettes to the 386bsd
filesystem during initial installation. I'm glad it works, but WHY
do none of the other mtools commands work? All of them, even the
readonly mdir, return "mdir: init: no such file or directory" no
matter what form of arg. is given.
