My Problem is though, that when I log on, at the console, I can't use the backspace or any of the arrow-keeys when I use vi. I have to admit that I am rather a novice when dealing with Unix machines, but any help would be greatly appreciated. The only way to learn is to dive in head first, and sink or swim.. :) Thank you for your time... Robert Ellsworth Dutchess Community College
